A few weeks ago, I escaped the Bubble with two dear friends to Lorraine's home village, a tiny place called Lochinver at the very north of Scotland.
For her 21st birthday, we joined her family and the locals at the pub for dozens of rounds of drinks and dancing till three in the morning. It was clear how very loved she is and what an amazing, close community there is in the village.
We ate pies, went for long walks, watched scary movies in a remote holiday cottage, messed around on an old piano, and drank coffee with an astonishing highland artist as he showed us round his gallery.
It was a lovely adventure.
